POLICY
NON-CHEMICALLY STRAIGHTENED Natural Hair free of chemicals designed to alter your hair's natural curl pattern by straightening it or stretching it to be "more manageable" such as:
- RELAXERS
- TEXTURIZERS
- "NATURAL RELAXERS"
I do NOT provide PRESS n' CURLS. However, I do refer clients to Michele at Turning Heads Again in District Heights, MD...when I got my hair pressed, she did an awesome job! Note: She is NOT a natural hair stylist!
BRAID STYLES are provided to clients interested in TRANSITIONING to Non-Chemically Treated Natural Hair. Nursing hair back to health that has been damaged by relaxers for the sole purpose of the person getting a relaxer again once their hair is healthy, is not my specialty. I am not a BRAIDER, I am a Professional Natural Hair Stylist.
- 20-minute Natural Hair Consultations are done during normal business hours Tuesday-Thursday. There is a $20 fee associated with the consultation which will be credited toward your first two services if scheduled/performed within 2 weeks of initial appointment.
- Prior to calling, please consider the Appointment Time, Date and Service that you will be requesting.
- Hair should be prepped/ready to begin service ie; free of any style that would hinder me from beginning the service at the time scheduled. Failure to do so, no matter the reason will result in rescheduling.
- The studio salon is an in home setting, please do not bring guests that are not being serviced.
- Yes, mom's this includes the babies! Please make proper arrangements prior to your scheduled appointment.
- If someone will be dropping you off, please call them to pick you up prior to completion of service.
- Late arrivals may be charged an inconvenience fee of $10 or asked to cancel/reschedule appointment.
- Same day cancellations/reschedules will be charged $25 service fee.
- NO CALL/NO SHOW...will be charged the full service fee. Limited to 1 per calendar year, after that, there will be no charge/no service.
